In this class, we will forge a small Trekking Hatchet. This is the smallest hatchet I make. It weighs less than a pound and is super handy to throw in your pack as you head to the woods. We will punch and drift the eye, forge the blade, grind, and heat treat to finish. Then we will fit the high carbon head with a hickory handle.
